I have a 99 and an 01 XJ. The 99 has an overhead console in the headliner, the 01 doesn't. Is there wiring already ran to the 01 so I can swap out headliners without having to do any rewiring. Thanks!

 

might not be since one did not come with it remove the console follow factor wire to where it plgs in harness

 

The overhead wire harness is different with and OHC and without (so you can't just swap headliners). You will need to swap the wiring harness as well, but unfortunately for you, the '99 wiring harness won't just plug directly into your '01: The connectors at the bottom (passenger kick panel) are incompatible. You can carefully remove the lower connectors from each of your existing harnesses and swap them as well. You can do this without destroying the connectors or cutting them.
