sway bar link alternative
I broke a sway bar link. comparing the link to actual sway bar, it appears to be small and fragile. Before I replace it with an OEM link, does anyone make something a bit gutsier? I plan to put a 2" lift on my jeep anyway so this may be the time to upgrade from the stock part. Due to budget constraints, I only plan to upgrade parts like this as they need it. Thanks.

replace with the stock ... it's actually a lot stronger then you think. Otherwise take a look at the aftermarket world for the disconnects that are available.

Thanks. I went to Napa, held the part in my hand and understood that it was a tough piece (as opposed to the 18 year old rusted broken piece that I saw rotting above my axle)

easiest job yet!
Sometimes replacing parts is a nightmare. The Links went easily after gunking then with penetrating oil.
The front end feels better after driving too.

You can't really tell it but the tops of the connectors are actually bent, add into it that the bushings are shot and well, I get something else to do to my XJ!
