Here's also a site I've used before. Maybe it's a start to help find your PA laws?

Gotta edit this, here's the main site for all states!

Yup, no vehicle inspections if any kind unless you are pulled over and the officer suspects your equipment to be unsafe or illegal.

Rear is totally fine to remove.

I did a 4.5in lift and ran with out the front sway bar for a few weeks and it wasnt to bad, then started to get HORRIBLE death wobble at 50mph+ when hitting bumps.

Put my stock back on and it fixed it but bent the top links and was stretched bad.

RC adjustable quick diskos for $68 from topguncustomz on ebay were put on today and it corners awesome now!

Michigan is pretty lawless too, They dont even bother to look at the vehicle when you register it, swap titles or get a licence for it. Ive seen some pretty sketchy vehicles driving on the road that i try to avoid.

removing the rear is fine - it's a leaf sprung suspension and you won't notice a difference

removing the front completely is stupid and irresponsible on a vehicle driven on the road. Period. I'm sure a lot of people always pop up and say they have removed theirs and they have been fine. It's still stupid, especially if you're lifted higher than stock. Higher COG = more body roll = poorer handling and maneuverability at speed = downright dangerous without a swaybar.

Just thought I would throw this out there... when one of my front sway bar links broke (which gave me an excuse to get discos) it was a very interesting experience... Taking corners much slower than normal it still felt unstable and quite hairy... It is amazing how much a bar of metal makes a HUGE difference in handling...

I don't have a rear sway. I removed that after I replaced the rear springs. I do notice after removal a small difference in handling but nothing like when the front link broke...

As for the police noting something is missing... unless they know what every vehicle comes with when stock and every style of suspension, I can't see them noticing a sway bar missing. Although police do tend to be suspicious and speculate... especially if the vehicle is heavily modified.

Yup and that's why everyone with theirs removed has rolled and died. Oh wait nope they haven't hell my wife drives the jeep without a swaybar without an issue. It could also be a I have a stiff set of leafs in the back that limit roll pretty well something about old f250 leafs being heavy for this application. I admit my pickup is down right crazy bodyroll it looks like it is going to fall over in corners. However it has spun on ice thanks to hard tires and a **** lsd and never rolled on me because of that. Curbs ice and a snapped trackbar are a little different story.

Yeah you might not be likely to just roll over from turning a corner.... but if one where to start to skid then over correct... the weight will violently transfer to the other wheels and inertia will roll the vehicle. A sway bar can help to control the body roll and help to prevent that violent weight transfer.

It's like cliff diving... if you are careful you won't get hurt... but you can't plan for every contingency. If something unexpected happens you are going to get hurt.
