i got mine from iorn rock offroad its the hack and tap kit came with shaft i had it made 3 inchs longer because of lift same ujoint and all bolted right up

cutting the rear shaft was a pain if i had to do it again i will buy the shaft and get a drive shaft from a junk yard

ZJ shaft is just a little longer. May be to long if you have an auto and 8.25.... only people I know running it have 5 speeds...

I was referring to the internal and external slip yoke. All XJs have a slip yoke from the factory but the newer models had an external spline.

Make up your mind in one post you are running a front shaft and here it's an aftermarket shaft from iron rock.

not so just pulled the 411 rears in mine from a 4banger and it did not have a slip yoke truck was all stock

I clicked on that link and discovered I will never buy a drive shaft from that place. Unless I read it wrong over $300 for a drive shaft!!!!!!!!!! It must be lined with gold and come with a mail order bride! I can have one made in town 3x stronger then a stock one all brand new custom length for $175. Or pick one the reason why I asked is I can get one from a JY for free. I know the owner. For the love of god 300 I got 1500 in to my 99 with 36" swampers bushwacker flairs 5.5".

I'd like to see a pic of your t-case with a fixed yoke cause cherokees never came with one only TJ Rubicons.

this was on the xj in upullit yard i pulled the rears off it to get 411 gears for my ride the year was 84 or 86 i cant remember

look up tc cases 208 and 219 84 to 87 xj no slip yoke
