sye woes

sye woes
hey i just joined here cuz i recently lifted my 92 xj 3.5 inches and i plan to go at least an inch higher. my question is if i can use a stock front driveshaft with a hack n tap sye b/c my brothers friend said it wouldn't be long enough. i also having trouble finding a way that i can do it in my budget of $120 at ideas?

Yes you can. That is the reason the Hack-N-Tap exists in the first place. It was created as a cheap and easy way to run the STOCK front drive shaft and its Double Cardin joint as the rear shaft. Your brothers friend is an idiot. Measuring is a good idea, but any front shaft from an auto trany donor should work.

Another 80 bucks will get you the easier sye to install from Advance adaptors and get a front shaft from a j/y.
I'm really not sure what you can do with $120 But I'm sure somebody else here might.
