Synthetic lube for 1995 XJ 4x4
Is it safe to use Mobil 1 or other synthetic lube in the front and rear diffs? I had good luck with synthetic fluid in the 5 speed trans. What about the transfer case? Should lessen wear and improve mileage???? Brooks

The word from the experts is that man made synthetic lube oils are better than dino juice. It's all a matter of the synthetics cost more.

gonna run 75w90 full Synthetic in the front and rear diffs, this should also help with fuel econ. less drag/friction = more mpg. engine's gonna get 10w30 Quaker state synthetic, trans is Dexron3 and same with transfer case, that's it.
