Default T-case leaking, fix?

I have the 242 t -case on an 00. While doing and oil change I noticed a good bit of oil build up around the t case and a lever caked in oil. Im not too good with t-case knowledge. I haven't checked fluid level but i think it's low. I have had some issues shifting into 4x4 on slopes.

Does any one know what would need replacing? These are the best pic i got at the time but can get more.

looks like the lever is leaking.. I'd just fill it and keep a eye on it. it's above the fluid level so it's only gonna leak when you drive. But it's not alot.
Check it every oil change.
