Tail lights + Turn signals + Hazards not working. Brake lights, headlights, etc. fine
Hey guys, I'm trying to diagnose this issue but I'm really not great with anything electrical :/ Title pretty much says it all really. I replaced the turn signal switch thing inside the steering column recently (problem was happening before this) which didn't help. But does anyone have any ideas what problem would cause these two linked problems? There may be a small chance that it's a coincidence and two separate problems, but IIRC they both stopped working at the same time.
Just looking for some ideas to look into because I'm kind of stumped.
Thanks guys.

My year and engine I figured people would be able to figure out from the thing under my username. But for posterity : 91, 4.0L. Not sure if they even had different trims in 91 but mines whatever the most basic would be. Definitely no power anything lol.
I have checked fuses but not relays. Is there a way to do it visually or do I need to use a multimeter or something? I'm sure my Haynes will tell me, but do you know if it's in the fusebox in the driver's footwell or under the hood?
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.

Hey I've been busy and forgot to return here to update with some stuff. I took out both flashers and the hazard one was indeed bad. Replaced it and now my hazards work! Even blinking on the gauges. Anyway, I also pulled the fuse for turn signals + back up lights which I found out was bad. Dunno how I missed it last time. I swapped another 15A fuse from the radio I think it was and plugged it in, but it didn't seem to do anything. I bought a new fuse anyway to stick in it yesterday. The parking/tail lights fuse is still good, but of course they still aren't working.

Well I checked the turn flasher and hazard flasher both by hooking them both up straight to the battery. The turn signal one clicked just fine. But I will switch them out just to check if for some reason it's clicking but not working.

Swap the turn signal flasher with the hazard flasher is what they're trying to get you to do. See if that changes anything.

Same thing
My 91 did the same thing, I looked everywhere as to why my rear turn signals and tail lights wont work,,,turns out, I removed the kick panel drivers side and there was a large connector that had unplugged itself, the tabs that lock it into the other half had dry rotten and broken over time and that allowed the connector to separate. I pushed the two halve back together and put a nylon tie strap around the connector so there's no way it can separate again. that made me crazy until I stumbled across it...hope this gives you an idea.
