this isnt 100% true or false. every Jeep is different. i cant wait to ditch my TC drop on my 01 and get an SYE. TC drop is good for a bandaid but i want that clearance back. a 96 jeep and earlier does good to 4.5" with nothing there since the rear output has the extended housing. plus my TC drop has my DC joint at a wieird angle at the TC but that is adiffferent story.

This and get some IRO ones, or similar, that has a bend in it. Not fully necessary but helps with larger tires. When i did my 3" lift i ran stock LCA for a few weeks and i had bad vibes from the front and the pinion was leaking. Having a LP D30 doesnt help either in my case.
