tcase issue? hope not
well iv been hearing this weird rattling noise that sounds like its coming from underneath the center consol, its kinda hard to explain. when im on the highway it gets sorta loud, and im worryed about something breaking. it almost sounds like a loose chain going around a sprocket. 4wd works fine, and my rig shifts fine, also when i am going around 50mph and i step on the gas sometimes theres a weird rattling coming up front. Im replacing my ujoints and bearings tomorrow, was hoping it would just be the ujoints in the rearshaft. anyone have any ideas?

rattling like what? like metal on metal? or like a clucking rattle? be more specific...is it a high pitched or low pitched rattle?
wouldn't be U-joint's in the rear drive shaft unless you have vibration, especially at high speed.

its got about 176k, like i said everything works fine, but the rattle noise seems to be getting worse, i checked everything underneath nothing moves i just redid the exhuast to thats solid, is the tcase suppost to have some play? cause i could kinda push it and it would kinda bounce a little, is there some bushings that i could replace?

Check the bushing on the crossmember, I agree check the Tcase chain, you never know the previous owner may drove around with it in 4WD, check Ujoints by see how much play driveshaft has.

tc drop could help, are you over 3" of lift?
and you so again, does that mean the vibes cut out then start again, or is it constant above 30mph?
