Default tcase issues no full time or low

I have a 95 cherokee 4.0 AW4 242j, did a tranny change about a month ago it went well but now only have 2wd and part time, adjusted linkage but nada. Full time andLo seem like neutral front shaft no turm and no indicator on panel. Shifter Fork? since it is manual shift linkage it should turn. I'll tear it apart this weekend. I don't know this system very well....yet. Can I test lights on panel from wiring on tcase?

A t case has 2 shift forks. The forks grab a sleeve that you would see in a manual trans but minus the syncros. One fork controls 2wd and 4wd the other controls low range (2wdLO isnt allowed because of the shifting mechanism. My guess is the shift fork is bent and only allowing 2wd and not allowing enough movement to engage 4wd at all. there is space between the teeth from the planetary gear set(4LO) to the main shaft(HI range) -this is how a t case has "neutral". if the fork is bent its only moving to the neutral area. Just a guess. But something to look for if you tear it apart.

P.s. if u do take it apart, make sure the forks have plastic inserts over the tips. This can give a false bent shift fork symtom. Hope this helps a bit
