Default TCC Solenoid, do I have the crappiest luck getting parts?

So I'll try to keep this short, but I'm replacing the solenoids in my AW4, I've gotten 3 kits and in all 3, the TCC solenoid seems to be dead, good ohms but it doesn't give me a click when I put 12v to it like solenoids A & B do. Does the torque converter lockup solenoid not give an audible click with 12v to it like the others do? I'm just finding it hard to believe my luck is so bad I've gotten 3 solenoid kits from 2 different people and all 3 had the exact same solenoid DOA...

as far as I recall, it clicks, but more quietly than the others, as it does the opposite action

my harness has a break in continuity right where it enters the trans, meaning I will have to change the harness for a spare I have

I had the TC solenoid out of a couple of trans, and tested them with 12V to make sure

pretty annoying

Ok, so maybe the ones I sent back were actually all ok... do they rattle for you as well? A & B didn't make a sound but if I shake the TCC solenoid it rattles. I'm at the point where I'm thinking of just putting it back together with the new parts and hoping for the best.
Also good luck with the harness, I know that's a fun job...

I recall something about rattling, probably a ball valve

If its a solenoid, it must move a plunger to open or close a valve, so therefore, to the best of my recall, it does make a soft click

If you are hard of hearing you may miss it I suppose, the other way is finger on usually can feel a relay or solenoid acting

I guess another way to test would be set your ohmmeter to Amps, and see if it draws current when connected to 12V

In conclusion, and I cant quite recall, but I think you can blow thru them with your lips as they open and close to permit the flow of hydraulic fluid

As I recall, the TC solenoid is opposite to the other 2, ie open with 12V or closed
