definately check the lower rad hose. also you should really flush the block if you haven't already. I had replaced every part in the cooling system and was still running hot. I flushed for about a week and my temp stays level at 200-210 on a hot day of 110* outside in heavy traffic.

Ok I agree with you about flushing the block that is the only thing I didn't do yet. But you say flush it for about a week not sure what you mean about a week. 2. thats a lot a new gal of anitfreeze don't you think and a little expensines.

I used the Prestone flush kit and replaced my Thermo with a 160 for the summer then took the spring on the clutch fan and turned it one turn counter clockwise and my jeep runs at no higher than 210 at idle in traffic all the time. With the air on it runs even cooler...Tj

It may look ok from the outside but that doesnt matter. squeze the hose and see if there is a spring in it. this is another step in the troubleshooting tree. if it is good then you can rule that out and move on to the next probable cause.

Are you loosing any coolant? Not boiling over but just disappearing?

have you flushed it yet? you need to run the Jeep with the flush in it for a couple hundred miles. have you been able to do this. I know this can be a frustrating process but its worth it to get your Jeep back up and runnin.
