there's a prestone flush that has chemicals in it. read the directions on the back of the bottle thoroughly. I ended up doing this process twice as I still had some chunks floating in my coolant after just one attempt.

Here is how this forum works. you ask a question and someone will answer you, maybe you will get two or three answers before your next post. MAKE sure you read and test all the answers that were givin to you. if you have tested them or changed a part that has been recommended. let us know.
There are some highly brilliant mechanical minds on this forum. the last thing they want is to sit down and give you there free recommendation and someone not take it. If it was not for this forum, i know i would have spent a lot of time and money at a mechanics shop asking for advice.
so i suggest, go back to page 1 and read all the suggestions again and let us know what you have done or have not done

how about we do this, listen to the man or woman at the cooling shop and understand that there is notning wrong with your jeep, and let this thread die. If it boils over and becomes a problem, then we can all meet back here and chat,I am sure you are being serious about this so do not take this wrong, but it almost looks like you are just having fun.

not to be a smart fart but to you have a fan shroud if not that could be a big factor in how warm your jeep gets. i had the same problem and when i put a new shroud on (previous owner took it off) my temp when down and stayed down.

I used the Prestone flush kit and replaced my Thermo with a 160 for the summer then took the spring on the clutch fan and turned it one turn counter clockwise and my jeep runs at no higher than 210 at idle in traffic all the time. With the air on it runs even cooler...Tj
