I had a standard (didn't work), then bought a Mopar on amazon (I broke that installing it), and now I have a Napa.
Heres the Napa one https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/ECHT...ut=temp+sensor
And the Mopar one

So yeah looks like they all are hit or miss huh. Might order standard then if doesn't work send back with Amazon prime. But waiting on a buddy at a shop to see if he can get me a mopar one ordered first. probably the best chance of working. Thank yall for the help. And I'll call my local dealer in the morning.

well went out and messed with it a little more and found the wire in the connector is loose tried to push the connect back together and yeah it broke and a small plastic piece was lost might just cut it off and go get one at the junkyard. would have put it back together but this tiny piece of plastic fell out or maybe just get that plastic nub from the yard. sounds like i am not messing with this ever again if i get a somewhat close guage.

Well I got a sensor from pull a part and now something is confusing me. The sensor is reading better says engine is cool. And infrared on thermostat housing says so too. But the e fan keeps kicking on anyone got any ideas?

The E-Fan is driven by the sensor in the thermostat housing...comes on at 220-225 ish. It also comes on when ever you have the a/c or defrost on. It also comes on with the thermostat sensor connector removed or open circuit wiring bit that will set a check engine light
