Temp sensor causing stalling?

Default Temp sensor causing stalling?

My jeep xj has stalled three times on me after the second i changed the CPS sensor. However after the third stall the check engine light came on for the temp sensor. My question is could the temp sensor have been the culprit the whole time?

Unplug it and see if it makes a difference

Could be wrong but i don't think it could cause stalling.
