i had to put my jeep in 4lo today to make it up a hail coverd hill and when doing so i thought it was in but apparently it wasnt so i put it in neutral and made it up the hill, about 40 minuets later i went to start it and it wouldnt start. i had battery and gas. i tried a couple times to start it and it still wouldnt turn over. i popped the hood and everything looked fine. i jiggled the battery cables a little and it started but i have absolutly clean connections and everything is tight. what do you guys think this could be?

Check you cables for cracks or any other wear and tear along the cable that may be grounding out by the starter or somewhere along the way.....a quick jiggle could temporary fix a problem like that....even the smallest crack could pull ground....good luck
