Terrible noise at LOW speeds from Front Axle
Ok, so I went mudding about a month ago and right then the Jeep started making this horrendous screeching sound at the front end. It eventually quit while we were still out and about that night, and lo and behold, today, coming back from work stuck in horrible Carmel traffic, going about 5mph, the horrible screeching reared its ugly face again, once I got over 10mph it would dissapear, then it didnt come back again. Is this a messed up bearing? Is my axle bent? Should I just pull the thing apart and grease it? (for all I know it is prob. still running on the same grease Chrysler put on it in twenty years ago when it was built (the first time) I am pretty sure it is my front right side making this noise.
