ok guys, getting ready for some projects and im looking for an instrument cluster for a 1990 xj with the temp gauge..gonna change from the idiot lights but im having a hard time finding the new instruments at an affordable price. if you have one for sale let me know!

also, im going to be upgrading my coolant system to the open system. any advice? im planning on going with a 3 core radiator. ive read the how to do it but id love to hear some experience talking and maybe some opinions? thanks!

I bought a reman cluster for my 2000 and it was some 700 bucks. new one was over a grand.

 

Good grief!! Ever heard of a junk yard dude? For that much money you could have driven across 3 states to find one!

 

Get your 3 core radiator from CFS. Decent price and well worth the money. It is the best engine upgrade I've done to my XJ. Cooling problems plagued me and have been gone since the new 3 core radiator.

 

man 15 bucks? i just missed that and bought one on ebay for 70! bummer.thanks anyway bigomudders .i figured id ****** it while it was there. just a few more parts and ill be ready for the swap on everything! kinda makes me nervous cause im totally in the dark when it comes to working on anything! lol..i didnt even know what a tie rod end was til i put in my lift! lol..ill keep ya guys posted on how this goes. all i need is the overflow and cap..and the heater switch (i think thats it) any ideas on working the electric fan? i dont want a manual switch unless thats my only option. im so addicted to this site now that i have it linked to my blackberry so i can check it all day at work! having some email problems though thats why i missed that deal on your cluster.

 

oh yeah..i did order the 3 row radiator from cfs..not bad ..cost 210 with shipping..cant wait!
