Think I Screwed Up!!!! Valve Cover Bolt spacer/grommet
i've come to the conclusion that these spacers/grommets weren't supposed to come out. because they damn sure aren't going back in without tearing the rubber off. i cant find much info on it but are they available for purchase or is my best bet to find another valve cover (maybe JY) with them already in???

stealership or parts stores. ive seen a few threads where people had luck finding them at napa, but either way they get brittle after a while anyways so it cant hurt to replace them

so if they were new, they'd be soft enough to fit back in without tearing?? cuz these are hard and the rubber pretty much gets torn up going back in...

if you need the little ones then jonwebb is correct. every felpro valve cover gasket ive ever bought has come with a set of new rubber grommets so all i reuse is the little metal piece. Where did you get your gasket from?

If you got a Felpro, those grommets should be packaged with it.
If you didn't get the grommets, take your gasket back and get another box with the grommets in it. If you went with a different brand... Can't help you there.

yup, they are kinda a pita, but with a little patience, you will get them in.
the first one is always the hardest, but it gets easier as you go.
