Default Thornbirds

Is anybody running thornbirds cause alot of people dont like them but i just love the way the look so what do you guys thing?

i have one as my spare, haven't used it but everytime i post a picture people say "why do you have a thornbird" ive only heard bad things about them nothing from personal experience though

not a street friendly tire. better for off pavement.

i know they clog up bad in the mud , i herd there good for more sandy conditions with the occasional mud crossing , thats why they have the tight tread pattern with the big side lugs

Do NOT use thornbirds on the pavement when its wet you wont be able to stop.

i run 33x12.5 tsl's not to bad on the street , they wander a little but not bad at all and honestly i think there more quiet then the bf goodrich mt's i had on there

Well i drive it everyday so what do u think is a good lookin offroad tire(kinda cheap) for driveing it everyday?

Default for cheap...

for cheap look at treadwrights, a search on this forum will render many results. for an all-around performer i chose BFG A-Ts and have been very pleased with them, though not exactly cheap. Cooper SSTs have good reviews, too - mostly depends on how you intend to use them though- if you were looking a rockcrawling tire i'd probably say check out pit bull tires, they're pretty sicknasty and high dollar, dunlop mudrovers can be had pretty cheap, but if you're mostly on pavement they won't last too long. but like i said it's how you intend to use them. happy shopping!

i herd some decent stuff about some mud tire that kumho makes now , and there decent price from what i hear but no clue, all around good performance, google them and check em out , i dont remember the actual name of the tire tho i think road venture

i had minitrucks growing up and ran kumho low pros and never had a complaint about there tires , so it might be worth looking into
