I just cut and folded my front fenders and am in the process of doing the rear now. What did you gus put in the front to keep the mud and water from getting into the door hinge area? My door seals arent the greatest and I know the first rain and im going to have wet feet . Pics would be cool.

how much did you cut?? Had cut the fenders on my 90 XJ and never a problem. try fitting in those "noodles" that kids use in the swimming pool or a pipe insulation wrap from a hardware store. IDK just my 2c worth

Spray foam a bad idea. it holds water and will increase the chance of rust forming that you cant get too.

Leave it open. Its easy to clean and maintain that way. I spray all my hinges with lithium grease. No leakes either.

Pool noodle, definitely. You can cram them in there & pull them out easily.

Get the green ones.

I left mine open too. I pressure wash the area all the time and have had no issues.
