My question is do they actually provide any extra HP

Simply, the answer is no. It does nothing for an EFI vehicle and is just a marketing gimmick like the ebay chips that add 450 HP and 50 MPG all for under $25.

I put one in my 2.5, it didn't do anything

They will do absolutely nothing in a fuel injected engine.

TBI, or carbed and it would make a difference. But in a modern 4.0 with MPI, it wont do anything.

yea I watched a kid blow $100 bucks on those and he swore it made a differents. I drove it and I didint see or feel anything. I think it's just a waste of $$ on a drilled out piece on aluminum.

Just buy the sticker from the MFG, it's worth 15hp.

The spacer is a waste of time and money.

haha if you need power thats what 4Lo is for lol but ya theres no point to them i got a intake kit and couldnt tell a diff sides more noise

The previous owner of my jeep put one on. It sounds like a blow off valve when i shift. Confuses the ricers. haha
