I know that there isn't a spring on the cherokee. I looked lasted night. That's why I posted this, to see if it was possible to do it without a spring on there. What does that spring do on the ford Ranger? Why doesn't the cherokee have one?

Tried it today and there was a noticeable difference when accelerating.

Here's what I did:

Good idea, i will go and do that. Its just such a cramped area its hard to get a good pic.
