Default Throttle position sensor?

I have a 2000 Cherokee and it recently has been idling badly. It starts fine, does not stall, but when in idle it starts at about 700 RPM then goes up to 900, then back down to 700, then back up. After researching a lot, it sounds like it could be the TPS. I just wanted to see if anyone had any feedback on this. The other posts I have read about TPS problems say a lot of times that the idle is in the 1500 range, but mine is much lower so I am not sure.

Sounds like a IAC Idle.Air.Control Valve....you can remove and clean it....
