Throttle positioning sensor O-Ring ?
Okay so I've got a bad throttle position sensor , like always I go to YouTube watch a couple videos to make sure I don't make things worse. However this morning I'm very confused because the new sensor I bought at AutoZone last night give very specific and clear directions on installing the O-ring.
I'm going to quote the directions here: Lubricate the O-ring provided with the new throttle positioning sensor with a light grade of vegetable oil such as Crisco, Wessonor equivalent apply 1-3 drops and allow access to drain off. End quote.
I have watched 5 YouTube videos this morning of people changing the sensor and none of them show an O-ring being installed. My question is does my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 throttle position sensor have an O-ring have I gotten some bad a directions from China with this part???
