I completely agree with you! He needs to be banned as soon as possible and let him figure out his own problem since he acts like he knows everything and cry's when someone tries to help him.

Eugenedude, I'm new here too, so I really don't have any skin in this game. And I understand your frustration with the exhaust noise issue. You've just fixed that, and now people are telling you to fix it. That's annoying. I get that.
But you aren't going to get any help with that attitude. Nobody OWES you anything. If people help you, it's because they want to. Start throwing around insults and the "want to" dries up pretty quickly.
Take it from a fellow newbie: You really need to chill out. What you are doing is known as "burning your bridges in front of you". That ain't smart.
At this point, you've done so much damage it's not likely you are going to get any help at all, unless you man up enough to do some serious apologizing.
Then? Maybe.
If you aren't man enough for that, I'm guessing you are probably done here.
At least do yourself a favor and don't repeat the behavior at the next forum you join.

You people looking for drama need to just go to a different thread.
You can't read=you're stupid. Ban me? You're dumb. Like I said if you don't wanna hear an honest response to your stupid reply, go to a different thread because I don't like to sugar coat things.
I know generally what is going on. I keep repeating myself that I'm just asking for the opinion of someone who has worked on/fixed their rockers tapping.
Obviously I wouldn't go through the trouble of signing in and asking the question if a search would have answered it. And I'm sure if someone who has fixed this would give an accurate assessment that more people than myself would benefit.
To those who understand my frustrations with these no-lifes, thank you.

Are you stupid or just illiterate? You wanna tip? Go take your damn valve cover off and crank the engine. It'll be easy as hell to tell whats tapping under your valve cover. The tapping could be anything from old lifters, rockers or a connecting rod. If you'll actually get under there and LOOK FOR YOURSELF you could figure it out in about 2 seconds. This isnt magic, it's impossible to tell you what exactly is going on with your rockers just by saying "its ticking". The only way to determine that is to look under the valve cover with the engine running and see whats moving and whats not.
Rebuilt meaning cleaned and new injectors. It is NOTHING TO DO WITH EXHAUST, NOTHING, that's just stupid. I clearly said it is under the valve cover and I just want someone WHO HAS FIXED IT to help me out and tell me what to do. Not people who are just throwing **** out there because they have nothing to do than post a useless reply on the internet...
How do I adjust the lifters so they don't tap is my question

Somebody cant seem to get their story straight.. First its stupid to suggest its the exhaust is causing the ticking, now you're aware the exhaust can cause the ticking and you've already fixed it? GTFO.
