tie rod end making snapping/springing sounds when turning or going over pot holes
i had this mysterious clicking/snapping/springing noise in the front for a year now.. cant figure out what it was til yesterday
i have all new parts in the front end
i run no sway bar
front coils are tight
new upper lower control arms
new RE track bar, axle side bolt tight, and frame side bracket bolts tight also
new shocks
new ujoints
new steering shock
ball joint have no up/down side to side movement ( i checked )
i dont know how old my TREs are ( when i bought the jeep they came with it, they have red rubber on them ), i did some test on them by moving shaking twisting them and they seem fine with no movement/looseness
the reason i think its the TREs is bcuzz when i had my buddy drive my XJ ( backing up really slow and me under the jeep looking for lose bolts/parts i was holding on to the long horizontal bar and it felt like it was snapping/springing..
what do u guys think?

Sounds like youve replaced everything but the TRE's
Swap to a ZJ tie rod..see if you have the popping, etc.
TRE's usually dont pop..they just get loose and make the steering squirlley..but its worth a try.
