Hi Everyone,
I'm about to change my upper and lower ball joints on the passenger side of my '98 4WD XJ. I was wondering if I can do this without removing the whole axle shaft. I know I gotta remove the wheel, tire and disc brake, but wasn't sure if it was necessary to pull everything else off. I saw that there is a hub assembly, not just bearings and spacers. I have a ball joint removal tool (C-clamp style), and also the install tool (to press it in). Has anyone else changed theres?
