Timing Belt
I haven't seen anyone mention anything about a timing belt or how to replace them or anything. What are the recommended intervals of changing the timing belt, and is it a hard job?

Neither the 2.5L or the 4.0L have a timing belt. Both engines have chains to run the valves and timing. Timing chains rarely fail and are usually good for ~200K miles before they wear causing timing delays.
Chain replacement is fairly straight forward and can be done in a weekend with basic tools and a good manual.

yep, the only jeep to have a timing belt is the newer 4 bangers, w/ the neon motor in them.
