My 235's rub a little too when I cut the wheel, haha. Not too bad though.

Mine ddnt start rubbing until I put a 15x8 rim on there. But all I had to do was cut off what it was rubbng on haha. 235s will be fine. I don't suggest putting 15x8's on though

I don't know if mine are 15x8, does it say on the rims?

They don't on mine.. they mgght on the back but not for sure. A very easy way to tell is if the tire is fat. It made my wheelbase bigger. T doesn't look like a factory rim but I'm sure they are probably 15x7's. Do the rear tires rub whenever you hit a bump?

My 235's run fine on a stock setup, no rub on the LCA. The tires are the $87 walmart goodyear wranglers. The rims are stock on mine, 7" wide.

Today i will look on the back of the rim and see if it says. And no i don't think the rear tires rub. I don't think there is a lift on it, also i dont know if the wobble is a death wobble or not. Could those large tires cause a death wobble?

I'm assuming so if they arnt aligned correctly or balanced. But that would just cause a wobble nothing like the death wobble.

By the degree of wobble.

If you have a death wobble, it will be unmistakable.

Smaller wobble could be lack of/wrong wheel balance or separated tire.

some 225/75/
15's and i will have them balanced
and see if if stops. Im no mechanic but i read about the trackbars
and the repair shops wants $260 to change it.
It just runs awsome till around 48mph then it does it till about
53mph.

Probably a good idea to do the tires first.

Don't be too quick to try and fix it man. Some xj's just have vibes. Mine is around 55 to 60. Other then that its smooth.
