I've got 25,000 on my set, and I would say that 50-60,000 will be easily accomplished while still having plenty of tread left for the AZ rocks.
I never had Mickey's, but I've watched a set of claws melt away... they do not last long.
Oh, I do not hot rod my rig, and am rotating a set of 5.

Interested in peoples experiences also since I am looking for a good set of MT's that will also last a little while on the street as well. The BFG KM2's seem to get good reviews so they were up there on my list.

That pic is of the day I had them put on. I have about 5000 miles on them now and to be honest they still look pretty much the same. I am pleased on the way they are wearing and the noise level is amazingly low for an aggressive tread pattern.
As with any tire frequent rotation on these is a must.

Tires
My cherokee had the BFG KM 1s and had about 20k on them with still about 40% tread left. I put a set of KM2s on a week or so ago and love em so far. Road noise is at minimum and they ride good. Clean out in mud seems real good. The guy I bought mine from has them on his 3/4 ton dodge and he said they are great and tire wear is good.He drives about 40 miles a day to and from work and pulls his mudtruck with em.

Cooper STT will out perform that tire in every way shape or form. If I recall, they are a bit more expensive but are way better. I plan on purchasing a set for myself here in a week or two.
Don't get me wrong, the KM2 is a great tire, but the Cooper STT is better. Make sure your Jeep is aligned, and everything is in good shape and working order and rotate your tires like you are supposed too, you're tires should perform like they should.

X2 - I like the Cooper STT, It's what I'm running now.
Their great for a DD the goes offroad on the weekends. Mine came sipped from the factory and really help with wet pavement and ice, both a mud terrains weakness. They have great manners on road and off.
Pick a tire based on what you do with it and the terrain it will see. If its a DD too, it may not be a bad idea to have a couple sets of tires for what your doing. A smaller set of more fuel efficient road tires, deep open lug mudders for wompin' in the hole, and a set of soft tread rock climbers for playing king of the mountain.
