tire size question
I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4WD. My tires are 225 75 15 (sticker on door says 215 75 15, but I found out there was a misprint on the sticker for my year). I am trying to get some decent used tires for it, but no one seems to have the right size. I had one place that said he had four 225 70 15 in stock, and for a good price. What are the cons to changing the size like this? I am kind of a purist when it comes to parts, so I am having a hard time justifying changing the size, but for $130 OTD for 4 good used tires, it is hard to beat the price. Can I get some solid advice from you guys?
Thanks
Thanks

HAHAHA. I have 225's nothings wrong with them. They actually look stupid kinda cause I have good springs/leafs still and they look so small.
For 130 get em, its a good deal and literally the size difference is like 1/3 of an inch, if you were get em brand new. I'm sure youll barely tell a difference. bottom line... GET 'EM. *if theyre any good

yes, I am only looking at the difference between 225 75 15 and 225 70 15. My goal is not to change the tire size at all, my only goal is to get 4 decent used tires, and I found 4 decent 225 70 15. I honestly don't want to change the size, I am a purist with those things and like original equipment sizes, but I can't beat that price. Are there any cons to changing the size like that, assuming all 4 tires change to the new size?
