Tires
I'm putting a 3" lift in soon but I need Tires NOW. So I can't get the lift now.
What is the tallest tire that can be mounted and not scrape? Even if I have to trim plastic.

I was in the same spot you are in this past winter. I went ahead and got the tires in spite of my friends advice not to - I only rode for a week on the new tires without the lift. The 31's I bought only rubbed at the outer limits of steering. I didn't attempt any offroading until I put the lift on and the only problem I had was making u-turns, and that was without any trimming. If you're not far off from getting your lift kit you probably won't have that much trouble.
