Tires
I am in need of purchasing some new tires for my '99 Cherokee Sport. I have (I believe) Mid 90's Grand Cherokee Laredo wheels on it now.
My cherokee is a daily driver in Pennsylvania, so I deal with both snow, rain, ice, and off roading on occasion, and in the summer I take it over sand.
Thoughts on the best tires?

Just get some nice AT tires like BFG's or General Grabbers. Since you don't have a lift and don't plan any serious offroading anything else would be pointless.

I have heard of others on here and on other forums who are running the General Grabbers and love them. Never heard any negative feedback on them especially for what you need them for.(not the best in mud)

Next ?....my current tires are 240/70/r15's, which are no longer made. I could just go with the 235...but what about going with the 255...thoughts??

I used to live in NJ so I saw alot of the same weather that you do. I disliked the BFG ATs when I had them on, they wore weird, and handled crappy to me. Currently got some Yokohama Geolander A/T-S and they have handled great in everything, snow, ice, trails and even mud. Only place I have yet to take them is sand, but to date they have not let me down.
