For a stock xj if you have good springs I has seen 31 inch tires . The max I would go with would be 235/75/15, just to be safe.Ok noone is telling you this,,If your spring have anywear to them go with the 235 s If your springs are good you can go with 30 s, REAR from center of rim to bottom of fender 17 inches FRONT CENTER OF RIM TO BOTTOM OF FENDER 17 and a half inches,And by the way 235/75/15 is what size is used in AMERICA.

They will fit with some minor trimming of the rear corners of the rear fender flares.

97+ cherokees are wider.

Just bought new heavy duty rear leaf springs for my 01XJ. It raised the rear at least an inch.
