Torn hatch wiring boots, options?
Both my hatch wiring boots are torn, and I'd like to fix this before I start having water issues. It appears these are no longer in production. Does someone have a part number for them so I can try eBay? Any other suggestions?

I think Corky is right. I looked in my parts guide and see the harness, but not the protective boots.
Best as I can tell, the numbers are:
WIRING, Liftgate
5600 9760 w/Power Locks
5600 9761 w/o Power Locks
The few I looked at on ebay don't have the boots.
Gook luck!!

Thanks for the leads. If I'm understanding this correct, the whole liftgate has its own wiring harness. If so, does it connect to the main harness under the rearmost portion of the headliner? I ask because I'll need to feed the wire through the new boots, and I'm hoping I can do it from the top.

The reason I'm thinking it's part of the harness is it's not just a simple rubber boot.. It actually has two ears that are taped to the harness so the wiring doesn't slip through when it's being installed... Much more involved than a simple boot replacement I had to take about 3ft of the harness out of the lift gate to get it in the correct position on the harness...Here's the "ears" when I unwrapped the harness and found I'm going deeper than hoped...
EDIT: you typed a response before I posted that pic so I'll add more info here...
There's some connectors at the top of the liftgate... you'll need to unscrew the connector from the liftgate..
Then you'll need to unpin the connectors... I used a set of connector keys to get it done but you can use anything that will get in them to release the tabs... I took a bunch of pics to make sure they ended up in the right orientation when put back together..
Then you can pull the wiring back through the rear headliner bulkhead to get some room to work...
