Tow a camper requirements
I have a stock (except for 2" lift and larger tires) 1999 Cherokee Sport 4x4.
I would like to tow a smaller pop-up trailer/camper, in the 1300-1600 lb range.
There is a hitch installed, but nothing else.
What are modifications are advisable for this kind of rig:
-- transmission cooler
-- electric brakes on camper
-- ????
Or, can I just run it stock?

Trailer brakes probably aren't needed on something that light, but make sure your XJ's brakes are in good shape (a rear disc conversion wouldn't be a bad idea but probably isn't really necessary).
