If you get another bad one check on Ebay for a OEM Mopar one. Jeep hasn't made these in years so new old stock on Ebay is the only place I know of to get one. Napa would be my only other choice for this part.

I'd make sure the TPS is installed correctly and that the actuator tab of the throttle body linkage is on the correct side......

To make sure I'm understanding you, you mean the little arm on the forward side of the throttle body that moves downwards when the valve opens is on top of the tab on the TPS so that it moves it through it's correct path of travel?

When moving the throttle with the bad sensor I'll be switching out later today the output value on the flat 3 prong when metering B to C would go from a max adjustmed 0.38v to a max deflection of 2.02v with the throttle all the way open. At one point I took the sensor off and moved it from min to max and the voltage would go from 0.01v to 2.14v before dropping to 0.00v if I pushed the arm all the way to the end of it's path.

So I finally replaced the TPS with a new one from NAPA. It is reading much better voltages (4.88v supply and after adjustment 0.82v output.) Grounds are nice and clean with less than an ohm of resistance showing with key off.

So yay! That's solved!

But it's still stuttering and backfiring if I rev the engine up to 2500-3000 rpm, which is discouraging. Its also running super super rich by the smell of it. I didn't take it out for a drive because if it's backfiring in neutral when revving in the past it was worse in drive.

Any direction or assistance would be a huge huge help. Thanks for your guy's help so far.

After I swapped my t-body out, I accidentally knocked the MAP hose out of the sensor. Gave me fits trying to figure it out. Until I just happen to see a random hose hanging. It would idle~ish., bog real bad if you tried to rev it.
