TPS issues
92 xj limited with the 4.0 ho (non renix) getting code 24 tps.... replaced the tps, reset the codes, and it comes back with 24 again after less then 10 miles.
this is the second (new} tps tried. pulled the voltage from the wires =5v at the power , good ground 0v and the signal wire .88 volts fully closed and 3.5 volts fully opened.
can't find a reliable source for what these voltages should be on the signal wire i have seen .2- .65 volts fully closed and around 4.5 volts fully open,
can anyone confirm the correct voltages for the signal wire on a 92 4.0 ho?
could any other sensor be causing the pcm to Think its the tps?
the only other thing i can think of is i was sold the wrong tps twice or the pcm is going bad.
