Trac-Lok 8.25 Chrysler 29 spline 1997-UP POSI LIMITED SLIP 10 bolt 2.56 & up, This is what I installed in my 8.25 axle. I was told that you never use synthetic oil! The manufacturer claims that synthetic oil gets into the clutches and ruins it. Even though Mopar recommends synthetic.
And make darn sure, you use limited slip additive. This is a must have.

Mine came factory with one unfortunately, had to rip it out and install an open carrier so I could put a Spartan locker in it. I think I sold it to a guy for $50.
