Default tranny help

What kind of seal am I looking at in the back of my automatic transmission? Between the tranfer case and the transmission. The fluid is leaking onto the skid plate and i'm having trouble finding the source of the leak. It's not coming from the pan. I can take some pics if that will help.

Any ideas?

Thanks
aaron

I found this on (www.jeepers-creeperz.com). NP231 all years of Jeep Cherokee, input shaft seal P/N: 18680.13, $11.95.

This of course only comes into play if it is your TC input shaft seal. Could be your tranny output shaft seal bad if leaking from that area, too. What kind of fluid are you leaking?
