Yeah, I didn't want to be retightening my bellhousing bolts all the time either. This was the next option. Thank you for the input. I really don't like how much rubber is around the through shaft on the OEM mounts. There seems to be more travel than needed which makes them fail faster, especially in the dry desert heat where they rot in a year. I like the bushing idea and will take the time to go that route.

I bought one of the Anchor tranny mounts myself. modified it a bit so it wont collapse on itself. then a week later I read that the factory Mopar mounts are solid and wont collapse(havent verified that story though) then a week after that I see XJwonders mounts for sale

just put anchor motor mounts and an anchor trans mount on my car yesterday, it was a night and day difference compared to my old mounts but we will see how they hold up. the old mounts made the engine shake on start up or shut off and shake the car at high speeds, now everything feels nice and tight. I don't wheel mine so I figured I don't need to spend the money on the browndogs. if they fail, it only costed me $25 for all three and 2 hours of my time so I wont be too bummed.

I pulled the week old anochor mount out today. this thing looks like a POS?..
I put the 18 year old facotry one back in with a 1/4" spacer betweet mount and tranny. while I wait a week for the new dealer one to come in. I need to be able to drive it. I couldn't with the anchor mount in.
video of anchor mount attached.
