Default Trans screen/gasket replaced - 1996 4.0 2WD XJ Sport

Today I replaced the transmission filter screen, gasket and about 3-3/4 qts Dex III. It was clunk-shifting a bit. Now it's smooth. I was surprised when I dropped the pan. The oil was dirty but the pan interior was clean. About an hour with clean-up. I don't know when it was done last (PO) but the pan had residual red RTV on the inside of the gasket lip. The black rubber gasket that came with the screen kit was snug on the bolts so I loaded all the bolts into the pan, using the gasket as the retainer for them, put it in position and aligned the dipstick tube. Got one bolt a couple threads in to hold up the pan and then ran them all down. While I was down there I could see that the rubber transmission cross-member rubber mount was oil-soaked and turning to mush. Will have to replace that soon.
