Haha yeah. Figured why not see if I could waste 30 bucks. But that's no man. So am I. Glad it was the trans itself that was shot.

 

I've done all of the above including changing TCU, ECU, 3 solenoids, speed sensor, checking all connectors, trace and checked that 10@ fuse under the hood for the Tranny.. still refuses to shift right.. drops out of OD, shifts back and forth OD 3rd, won't shift out of 3rd from dead stop, and on and on..

 

What year is this XJ?

 

1996.. on the edge of selling it and buying something else... it is driving me nuts.. (never have I had a problem in a vehicle I could not fix.. but these dang computer controlled cars suck for working on them.)..
