Im still goin to let them do the repair again but incase it doesnt work again any other suggestions? Does it sound like it might be a tcm issue or is it likely it was just a bad solenoid that was put in
If the dealer is willing to re-do their repair for free I'd let them. They would have used their DRBlll tool and then checked the resistance directly at the solenoid before replacing it. Even OEM replacement parts fail occasionally.

Checking the TPS and TV is a good place to start with shifting issues.

im having the same problem on my 96 sport. It occasionally "crawls" after a red light. sometimes it didnt even help to shift it myself, but if i shut the vehicle off and then started it again then the problem would go away after awhile. no codes tho, i replaces the tps since it was cheap and didnt hurt but idk where to look next.

I see that you're new here so I would suggest that you start a new thread with plenty of detail about your Jeep and the problems you're having. In the mean time search for verifying that your TPS is working (voltage readings at idle and WOT and smoothness of its sweep), how to adjust your TV cable and locate your Transmission Control Unit (TCU), because you may be asked to disconnect it and shift your trans manually to eliminate an internal mechanical problem vs electrical.
