Transmission cooler line?
So I have a leaky line, was hoping for some help identifying. I know the pics aren't great, but it's the line that threads into the lower drivers side of the radiator, elbows and connects to a quick connect pressure fitting under the lower hose, you can see the wet fitting down there. From what I've found its the transmission cooler return/hot line (correct me if I'm wrong). The part listed on rock auto is DORMAN 624801, but that doesn't come with the threaded fitting that plugs into the radiator. Is this the right part to fix this leak?
Thanks in advance for any help!

There are quick disconnect fittings on each end. The radiator end has the female end, and the transmission side has the male end. I strongly suggest you buy the dealer line as the Dorman lines are complete junk. O'Reilly's and others sell the threaded fitting for the transmission end for about $10. It's not a bad idea to replace them.

Md21722...any ideas where I can find the Mopar lines? I'm a firm believer in factory parts as well
MonacaYankee...Yes, I believe its the quick disconnect fitting that is leaking, and I would prefer to replace these with factory (or quality aftermarket) parts rather than starting to mix match stuff, just my opinion though
Thanks for the input guys!

Found this after looking some more, doesn't really look like the proper part...? I certainly don't mind replacing both of them, but need to know that I'm getting the one that will fix the problem...
It's listed as MOPAR 5015643AA and it's at location 12 on the diagram

Call the dealer with your vin. They will be able to give you the part number and then you can just search it on the web.

I just replaced mine the other day. The part you're looking for is Dorman 624-334. Not sure what that translates to in Mopar.
While you're under there you might look at getting the other lines (624-355 and 624-354--I think) and quick disconnects (800-317) too.

Then you won't feel bad about cutting it out and your transmission will thank you.

Thanks for all the info!
Dorman parts holding up well CCKen? Saving a few bucks is always good
And MonacaYankee I might be interested in doing that, Dorman part #918251 looks like it's closest to factory list on rockauto(I'm a big fan of RA). Is it a direct bolt up? Probably need different lines if you go that route though.

Somewhat on topic. Are these lines high pressure lines? My Jeep came with an aftermarket radiator and trans cooler and the lines were run pretty terribly.
Was curious if I could just cut them and run new rubber lines in

Somewhat high pressure.
The internal operating pressures are:
61-70 psi at curb idle (in Drive)
173-205 psi at WOT (in drive)
213-263 psi at WOT (in Reverse)
I'm not sure what the pressure would be in the outlet cooler line (see post #10 above) vs. the internal operating pressure but probably less in the return line.
If I was looking in to what you propose I would assume 61-200 psi in the outlet line.

Having the same issues. My hard lines have a leak where in 90s in front of the oil pan. Its all rusted and the other line is leaking where it rides on the side of the pan. They broke when changing my rear main seal and putting the oil pan back on. I just got both dorman lines from O'Reillys. Anyone have a good idea to disconnect the quick connects without buying the tool ill use one time?
