why not spray some good penetrating oil into the area where the 2 pieces slip together?

PB Blaster is junk compared to Kroil. worth every penny more in price.

Auto zone guy talked me into the seafoam brand penetrating stuff over pb blaster. I soaked the joint multiple times, no effect. I did not try heat though. That might be the last thing I try before I just cut them like Flintstone suggests. I'll grab a little torch lighter and try it out.

Problem is I work 11 hour days during the week, I've only had weekends to work on this thing since I bought it so it's coming together a little slower than I'd like. When I get it going for real I'll post some celebration pics.

In one test I did it was amazing. A bolt on the seat of a potters wheel that had been in the weather for decades came loose almost without a wrench.

to get mine apart I used a propane torch to heat up the joint and it came right apart . I had to replace the o rings but that was easy
