Transmission Fluid Over Filled

The Haynes manual says check in N. The manual that came with my 92 says check in park. Both say make sure to drive 15 miles to make sure it's at full operating temperature. do not over fill is written in bold words. Guy art he shop sucked some out and it was too much. I went home, added some more, and then drove 15 miles. Came back and now its just right. Level ground is important too. This dude at the shop told me the level was OK, I told him the car is parked on an incline. He said it doesn't matter that much. Thats not correct. If you put the car in neutral and it rolls, your not on level ground and it will not show the correct level on the dipstick. Even a small incline.
