Default Transmission issue
Hi so I'm new to the community I just purchased a 89 mj sorry I Kno it isn't a cherokee but close enough it's got the 4.0 in it aw4 trans the issue is every gear is drive except park and it kinda wants to roll in park neutral is where od is reverse is a forward gear and so is everything else wondering if anyone has had similar issues thanks

Have a peek at the shifter cable adjustment.

Quite possible the connection at the trans on the drivers side is broken.
